Whatever one does, one should do it with confidence. If one has no confidence, there is little possibility that one will ever achieve anything, especially when one is faced with drawbacks or hardships.  On the contrary, once someone achieves success, he will do things with more confidence.This truth seems to be self-evident.

 

But I don't think the confidence can be built within one day, it needs to be built up gradually, you will get more and more confident if you can achieve the success bit by bit.

 

I always clearly remember one thing which ever let me know the truth.

I was very shy and dislike talking in front of other people at my primary school time, but once my teacher had me to represent our class to give a speech in the Children’s Day convention of our school. I was scared and told her that I couldn’t do that at all, my teacher encouraged me and promised me that I was for sure to be able to do it. I was still not confident of it. But the only thing I can do is to make prepare for it. The day come in the end, I came up the stage and stood in the front of mike, the first voice coming out from my mouth is in fear and trembling. I was so nervous to have the sweat beads falling from my jowl and my brain was blank, I only spoke at rote. But after a while, I kept calm a bit, my voice turned natural and the words can be spoken fluently. Finally, I got this speech done. Since then, I’m not so afraid of giving a speech in front of many people any more.

 

I believe that the small success had made me more confident than I was before. Then I dare go ahead to challenge the limitation and overcome the underestimation of myself with more confidence, which will result in more bigger success, I’m very happy with the success and confidence I’ve achieved constantly. Now you could see the relationship between success, confidence and Happiness.
